There aren't many things that are better than The Man Who Sold the World on vinyl.
This is what love must feel like. And heaven.
I'm not afraid to say it: I love this album.
I have to get a new ring tone. It's gone from embarrassing guilty pleasure to omg this sucks balls. Damn you, Fiance and Shakira!
Also, Donnie Darko and Harry Potter are taking over my brain again.
I found a picture of Wayne Coyne and Justin Timberlake performing onstage together. In 2003, JT was sporting a guitar and a plushie suit with the Flaming Lips. What the fucking goddamn hell is that shit and why the fuck wasn't I there?
I wish I had been at Bonnaroo. Fuck.

I'm thinking about getting drunk at some point and doing a voice post. That should be amusing, right?
V and I have the most amazing cats in the world. Everyone else can fuck themselves. Except Caitlin. Her cat is the shit as well. Lilah and Oberon say "Hi!"
I have to stop obsessing over John Oliver. That's a stupid thing to type since I just chose the icon with his image. I'm a fool.
Time to watch LOST! Yay!

Now it's more fun to stalk people on myspace. I don't even have a myspace.
Oh, internets, you fuck shit up all kinds. What the fuck are we doing here? And I don't mean that in an existential way. I just don't know why V, KT, and I are kicking it here in V's room. I love this apartment.

I'm so fucking tired of my dreams. I know what you mean, bitches! Quit giving me repeats!
My brain is on a loop.
Tomorrow is S.A.D. I can't wait. New LOST should provide lots of "fangirling" over hot British men. Desmond and Charlie forever!
Shut up, dreams!
Fucking hell, at least I get to go to work, right? Oh, KB Toys, you might just see me through to the end.
Shit, what the fuck am I doing? I feel like I'm in a Neil Young song...

I finally have every single episode of Monty Python's Flying Circus on DVD. I am completely unmotivated to go to work or do anything besides sit in bed drooling over brilliant comedians. *sigh* In a perfect world...
Also, Ed Helms seems to have returned to the Daily Show sans spectacles. I missed him quite a bit.
What a pointless entry. Aren't they all? At least I used the John Oliver icon. Tee. Hee.

Okay so I have to stop going to bed at 9 on my nights off because I miss phone calls and opportunities to make phone calls and basically I'm becoming an "early bird" and waking up at seven in the morning on a daily basis without the aide of an alarm clock is terrifying!
Ugh...
Some lady told me I look healthier since I quit the coffee shop. This was right after a mini crying spell and the dark circles under my eyes have gotten megaprominent over the last ten days. I think she meant I've lost weight which I have but not in a healthy way. But if all that makes me look healthier to a society obsessed with carbohydrates, sugar and fat, then yay me!
Every time I see a roll of toilet paper now I think of the Colbert. Fucking hell. It's just the brand he used on Wednesday's show (out of context that's one of the funniest things that I've ever written). With the redded out "C" to make it "harmin," the world makes so much more sense. Think of the advertisements: "Ha ha ha, harmin!" VICTORY!!! Eleventy harmin! Yes! Now I can stop agonising over those goddamn ass-wiping/wiggling bears and their retarded "Cha cha cha, Charmin!" song! It doesn't make sense! It does not cohere! Fuck those bears! Fuck 'em all!
Bears really are the number one threat. Thank you, Colbert. I am eternally in your debt for my newfound sanity.
In my dream last night, there was a terrorist attack at the mall which was actually a high school on the inside. I was able to get out of the building despite everyone being locked up on the second floor. I went to a really nice restaurant with one of my fellow hostages whose name I don't recall. This makes me feel bad because by the time we returned the mall had already been blown up and we left our families inside.
What does it all mean? Shouldn't I have had this dream, I don't know, four years and five months ago?

New header. It's not that I didn't want to stare at the Colbert anymore. I've just been lusting over Viggo and I keep getting all these fucking pictures of creepymustache!Viggo when I'm searching Google Images and I was pissed and he just looks sexy with a gun.

MJ "The Way You Make Me Feel" |
] |
God, I hate opening. Can't you make the malls open later? Come on, you almighty bastard. Send Jesus X to change the mall schedule. 11:15-19:58 sounds good to me. Those are my most alert hours of every day unless I'm drinking and then I'm good until around 2:00 or 3:00. Please? I promise not to call you a bastard again.
Yeah, right. Like "God" in whichever of his many, many forms reads my journal.
In my dream this morning/last night/yesterday/next year, I was driving a car that felt like a bicycle through this busy unknown ghetto-esque area. I pulled into a funeral home car park (as we say in New Zealand), and this random black child (who looked like one of the kids I see regularly in my store without an attendant/parental unit) walked up to me and started tugging on my sleeve. At first, I was confused because I thought I was in a car so how could someone touch me? Then I got that creeped out feeling Ann Darrow must have had on Skull Island right before she was ravaged by the natives. So I drove/pedaled away, noticing what I was listening to (Radiohead's "The Bends"), into a back alley on the side of the building and circled back around to find a bunch of ugly rich white men in ugly cheap suits made of what must have been a polyester blend. Then I noticed him. He who was holding these ugly rich whities hostage at gunpoint outside on the sidewalk. Now really, who does that? Mel Gibson, that's who. This man has balls, let me tell you. And not the good kind. That creepy uber-Christian, mega-watt white guy kind. Ugh.
And then my alarm went off. Now I want to watch Donnie Darko. Bicycles remind me of Gretchen at the end of the film. Poor, poor Gretchen. "Go where?"
"Describe this post in one word."
...pointless...

the snow from Tuesday night:
( It's no Caradharas, but we tried... )
There you go. The area surrounding the house in which I reside covered in partially frozen precipitation. It was gone in much less than 24 hours. Fuck you, southeastern area of the USA. Actually, just fuck the USA. U, my ass. I'm going to Scandinavia and Pippin's going with me. Nevermind, he's just sitting beside me so I'll eventually think his cute factor is mega high and feed him. Little Shirebastard.
I think I'm going to watch ROTK now before I have to go to work. LOTR makes everything okay. Escapism!

SNOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWIIIIIIIIIIIING!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ELEVENTYSNOW! This is some eleventy shit right here. Motherfucking snow.
Oh, and by "is," I mean "was" because snow doesn't precipitate for very long amounts of time. It snowed for at least an hour if not a bit longer. I took pictures of my house and garden (and by "my," I mean "my mother's").
It really was a good day. I think I'm making my way out of this depression slump. It feels pretty good. I'll be happy and manic and calling people again soon enough.
Obligatory Colbert reference: After finishing my morning work duties, I promptly went out to the ice cream vending machine and got a Dreamcicle. That's right. I had a Dreamcicle. And I said to myself and some of those weird old mall walkers, "I have a Dreamcicle."
I'm such a fucking nerd.
That statement also applies to my purchases at the mall while Amanda and I were waiting for the rain to stop (joke was totally on us). LOTR and TDS America: the Calendar. Hell, yes. Also got MAC. Love MAC. MAC is good. Should stop buying MAC.
Haha butter nuts.
I just discovered an energy drink called BAWLS. OMG is that funny!!! BAAAAAAWLS. Even though "bawl" has a completely different meaning than "balls" which I cannot type in a singular fashion.
"Balls": singular: more than one.
And now this icon applies to my post. You know who would be proud?
Stephen Colbert :)

I suddenly felt the need to photograph my gnome family and put them on my LJ. These guys are awesome.
First, there's the group that resides in my room:
L-R: Grimble Gromble, Magneto, Lawrence, Gandalf, a troll from Gatlinburg, and a BK kids meal toy resembling Luke Skywalker. Also seen are some money, a lighter, some candles, a lava lamp, a Bowie poster for which I paid $30 not including the frame, and a very Gothic gargoyle teaset.
And then there's Fred whom I separated from the group that resides in my room because he brought with him the germs of another house which could contaminate my family which is why he resides in the fridge, daddy-oon the fridge with a random wooden feline object of questionable genetic background:

Ah, home life. Too bad you can't see the VHS Collection of Doom. There have been a lot of episodes of the Daily Show since spring of 2003 :)
